Galleries....
Though I am not presently looking for a gallery nor commissions I am always open to considering any offers or interest. If you are a gallery owner and think you like this work I would first need to be convinced that you could actually sell it. Convincing me would take something beyond just optimism and a love for this work. At the same time those atributes would surely help. Also offers will only be considered from professionlly run well established galleries with a minimum of six years in business.
Of course any gallery would also have to understand that I am not a fan of doing work that sells as much as doing work that I am inspired to do. I also almost never do commissions and the last one I did do took over a year to get started on it and almost the same to complete. Since actual art sales are not a huge concern of mine at this time I do not recommend you considering me at this point.
In the event I were interested in your offer I am totally comfortable with the standard 50% commission and will pay 30% to any gallery doing one time sales of my work through their gallery. Of course all one time sales would need to be COD. Plus you would need to have at least a minimal online presence along with a brick and mortar location.
At this time the only form of gallery representation I have is the Vancouver Art Galleries Art Sales and Rental department. I am not looking for any more gallery representation in the Vancouver area.
Please note I no longer have slides of this work available thus please do not request them. I do have a hard copy binder of printed digital images that could possibly be sent in the event I found your offer of interest. If you don't have an offer in advance please do not request a binder.
